EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)

The new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) will come into force on 12 August 2026, replacing the German Packaging Act. The PPWR introduces EU-wide requirements relating to substance restrictions, recyclability, minimisation and labelling.
